The biggest complaint of both my clients as well my peers in fitness is that little stubborn lump of fat just above the waistline. I think we’re all too familiar with that little roll of fat that settles just above the pant line and prevents you from wearing those pants or two piece swimsuit you love. Everyone has belly fat, but I’m talking about that roll that you just can’t get to go away...
It’s common to think that strict, healthy eating and obsessive exercise alone will achieve a flat, toned stomach. The trouble is when my clients would do this and the belly fat still remained, they would become discouraged and stop these healthy habits.
Recent research is suggesting a new cause for this stubborn belly fat that is making new waves in health and fitness circles. The belly fat is stored up as a result of other underlying issues that trigger chronic inflammation
Chronic Inflammation - A Major Contributor of Belly Fat?
The most common (and most overlooked) source of inflammation we suffer is within the digestive system, generally referred to as the “Gut.” This inflammation causes our body to enter a “survival mode”, which then causes a myriad of issues such as:
Storing Fat in Stomach and Thighs
Fatigue
Slowed Metabolism
Accelerated Tissue and Organ Damage
Overstressed, Weakened Immune System
Nutritional deficiencies
Healing the gut is the first and most important step towards fighting chronic inflammation and restoring our health and body. A body must first become healthy to become fit, so if you want to lose that stubborn belly fat, you need to take steps to calm inflammation, repair the gut, and protect it from future damage.
9 Steps to Help Burn Belly Fat
1. Change your Diet
I’m not talking about eating clean for a couple months, I’m talking about permanent, educated, life-changing improvement to your diet. Whatever you do, you need to avoid the starvation/roller coaster dieting. Natural foods can naturally suppress your appetite. This will help curb cravings that can potentially sabotage your efforts. Avoid foods that are known to cause inflammation:
Refined Sugars (It’s in practically everything!)
High Fructose Corn Syrups (Sodas, Treats, Candies, etc...)
Limit your intake of grains - particularly Wheat and Corn
Diet Sodas & Artificial sweeteners (one of the MOST important changes needed for your health)
Avoid and eliminate foods one by one you may be mildly allergic to. (Wheat, Dairy, Sugars, Eggs, Gluten, etc...)
Partially Hydrogenated Oils (Bad Fats)
Minimize processed food loaded with preservatives and artificial colorings or flavorings (these are bad for good bacteria that reside in your Gut)
Foods to seek out:
Natural, non-processed foods - these contain important nutrients and enzymes that are often stripped out in the processing of foods.
Complete Proteins - Meats, Eggs, Natural legumes and grains: Quinoa, Buckwheat, Mycoprotein, and Beans.
Healthy Fats: Avocados, Olives/Olive Oils, Salmon, Tuna, Almonds, Walnuts, etc. Cashews and Peanuts should be avoided or consumed in limited amounts (large amounts can contribute to inflammation because they are high in lectins)
The gut lining is the first defense against pathogens, toxins, yeast, and other foreign entities. If the health of this lining is compromised, it causes problems by:
allowing undigested particles of food into the intestines and bloodstream (triggering the immune system and causing inflammation and food allergies)
allows bacteria, viruses and other pathogens into the bloodstream (increasing the load on your immune system and resulting in increased bouts of illness)
not fully breaking food down into usable forms (which reduces our ability to absorb nutrients contained in the food we eat).
Ways to strengthen the gut lining:
Supplement with Cissus Quadrangularis - this perennial plant has potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties in addition to clinical studies that have shown it to be helpful for restoring the protective mucus layer in the gut.
Kill off Candida - Candida can contribute to Leaky Gut Syndrome by sending out rootlets that penetrate the gut lining. Candida’s favorite food is sugar - so cutting out sugar and starving it will help. Supplementing with Green Tea is even better. Clinical studies found this to be the most effective treatment against Candida (that is considered safe, anyway).
Eliminate processed foods and grain - Or reduce consumption to as little as possible. This does not have to be long term, but this will be extremely helpful for improving the healing time. White rice can be consumed as it is easy for the stomach to process and contains no potential irritants. After 4 weeks, you can slowly re-introduce small amounts of grain if you feel you cannot commit long term to such a strict eating plan.
Drink Collagen-rich meat broths
If you believe your stomach lining to be severely compromised, you may want to look into following the GAPS diet, for a 4 week period.
3. Boost the Immune System
If the immune system is overtaxed, otherwise treatable problems can become persistent sources of inflammation that the immune system is too busy to take care of. This can drain our energy and make us more susceptible to viruses and bacteria – resulting in frequent illnesses, some potentially life threatening if allowed to continue unchecked.
Zinc, Reishi Mushroom, Cordyceps Sinensis, Yeast Beta- Glucans and Transfer Factor provide support for the immune system and help it work smarter and more efficiently.
4. Detox & Flush Harmful Particles
Pollution, fertilizers, chemicals, or toxins in the air we breathe, water we drink, or foods we eat can all trigger an inflammatory response. These ingredients help detox and flush the body of toxins.
Reishi Mushroom and Cordyceps Sinensis help boost immune function and strengthen the liver (which is essential for helping the body to remove unwanted toxins).
5. Soothe Inflammation
In addition to targeting the causes of inflammation such as bad foods, toxins, viruses and bad bacterias, it is important to supplement with anti-inflammatory ingredients for best results.
Berberine, Quercetin, Cissus Quadrangularis, Green Tea, Black Pepper Extract, Sinetrol Citrus Extract, Green Tea Extract, Manganese, Brown Kelp, Curcumin, and Olive Leaf Extract all have anti-inflammatory benefits and can help speed the recovery and healing process.
6. Prevent Oxidative Stress
To Prevent Oxidative Stress you need to ensure you have enough antioxidants in the body – excess free radicals can damage healthy cells and tissue. This can lead to chronic inflammation as the body is constantly working to repair the damage.
Alpha Lipoic Acid, Quercetin, Resveratrol, Co-Q10, Manganese, Selenium, Olive Leaf Extract, and others are all potent antioxidants that provide comprehensive protection for different areas of the cell and body.
7. Reduce Excessive Body Fat
The problem with excess fat is that it comes with a laundry list of problems. Leptin, a hormone produced by fat cells signal the hypothalamus to manage the body’s weight through burning fat for energy and boosting the cravings to eat. The trouble is that some people can develop and leptin resistance which doesn’t trigger the normal functions, but rather stores fat and hoards energy. It's very important to do whatever it takes to make healthy choices and reduce any excessive fat you've acquired.
8. Supplement with Fat Burners
Cissus Quadrangularis, Irvingia Gabonensis, Sinetrol Citrus Extract, Bitter Orange Extract, and Berberine are all powerful and proven fat burners. They encourage the release of stored fat to burn for energy, reduce appetite, and reduce the impact of sugary and starchy foods.
Acetyl L-Carnitine, Green Tea Extract, and Vitamin B Complex noticeably boost energy levels and motivation - so you move more, get more done, and get the most out of workouts.
9. Find a Comprehensive Supplement
One ingredient cannot possibly solve this complicated problem. Belly fat can be caused by a large range of issues so you need something that targets as many causes as possible and assists in improving:
Metabolism (Burn more fat)
Decrease causes of Inflammation in the Gut
Help the Body Heal and Protect Itself
Suppress appetite / Reduce cravings
Significantly improve energy and motivation
Help Strengthen the immune system
Assist the body's natural ability to control blood sugar
We’ve made it our mission to create a comprehensive solution that works towards all of these goals. After years of research and development, it was clear that it wasn’t possible to put it into one single product due to the large amount of ingredients, and we knew these highly effective ingredients weren’t going to be cheap. We pushed forward anyway knowing that when we found something that worked, there would obviously be a huge demand for it...
Our mission was a success - the fruits of our research resulted in 3 separate products we named IGNITE, OPTIMIZE, and FORTIFY. We produced a test run and after only a few short weeks of use by my clients, we knew we were on to something special. Clients dropped a quick 5-10 lbs within weeks and those that were on it 60-90 days saw a steady decrease in weight from then on and a trimming of 2-4” off their waist, and many other areas they usually stored pockets of fat!*
Since launching in early 2017, the results and reviews have been amazing to say the least. We’ve already had to manufacture more, which is way faster than we ever expected. The best feedback we could ever receive is for someone to order our product again - and the reorder rates have been much higher than we ever could have hoped!
We know that many of you suffer from the problems we have discussed. You may even be the person that exercises like crazy and doesn't see change... or the guy or girl who eats clean and can't lose weight... you may have low energy and gut issues... or you may just feel unhealthy overall.
The good news is you don't need to keep struggling with these things. We have developed 3 products into a very simple set called the Transformation Program that includes all the ingredients above resulting in amazing results for our customers!*
